Where to this Christmas?
It’s almost Christmas and I can hear the christmas carols already. In the Philippines, we celebrate the Christmas season at the beginning of the BER months which is every September 1. It’s not new to me specially that I grew in the Southern part of Cebu that as early as September 1, some people will start singing jingles (christmas carols) from one house to another. I know that it is sometimes used for a living but for me, my Christmas won’t be complete without the carolers singing wonderful Visaya songs that sometimes I can’t even understand but so lovely to hear. Anyways, going back to the topic, it is also the season of giving gifts not only to your family and friends but also to yourselves for being a strong person that surpassed the difficult challenges of life.
