Where to this Christmas?

It’s almost Christmas and I can hear the christmas carols already. In the Philippines, we celebrate the Christmas season at the beginning of the BER months which is every September 1. It’s not new to me specially that I grew in the Southern part of Cebu that as early as September 1, some people will start singing jingles (christmas carols) from one house to another. I know that it is sometimes used for a living but for me, my Christmas won’t be complete without the carolers singing wonderful Visaya songs that sometimes I can’t even understand but so lovely to hear. Anyways, going back to the topic, it is also the season of giving gifts not only to your family and friends but also to yourselves for being a strong person that surpassed the difficult challenges of life. It could be emotional, health ot financial difficulties. As a season of giving, we can’t avoid thinking of the budget that we need to spend. We always thought that since this is just once a year, we should make the ...

Would you pay more for FOOD?

Have you ever thought of going beyond your budget just to satisfy your FOOD cravings? For an average salary earner like me, it is really a challenge to spend more than 200 pesos a day for my meals. It’s already been set that my budget for food should not go beyond the amount allocated or else I will be starving the next day and what’s worst is that you will be left with an option to ask money from your parents ( which is not an ideal thing as it defeats the purpose of growing hahaha). Going back to the topic, I think it’s not wrong to spend beyond your budget allocation just for experience purposes only and to avoid being ignorant of such a thing in the future. One of my favorite place to go is Vikings, it doesn’t mean that if I love it then I always go there haha.  The good thing about Vikings is their birthday promotion. I’ve been to Vikings thrice already, first is when I decided to give it a try and next is during my sister and brother-in-laws birthday. Imagine, birthday ...

Coins.ph Review

The first time I heard about Coins.ph, I was quite not interested with it as I’m not really familiar with bitcoins and what I thought is that their platfrom is mainly for bitcoins only but I was wrong. So without further reading, I just signed up and verifid my identity by filling out the details needed and submitting my valid government ID and my beautiful selfie (lol). At first, I was quite hesitant because I was afraid of Identity Theft however when I realized that I have nothing to lose then I gave it a go. When I first signed up, an amount of bitcoins was added to my wallet. Well, I got no idea that time on what I need to do with that bitcoin so I just left it there in my BTC wallet. Earlier October, I received an email from Coins.ph that they added some bitcoins to my account. Wait, I was like shocked when I read that so I hurriedly accessed my Coins.ph wallet and there I found 0.001xxx something, I forgot the exact digits but when I tried to convert it to peso, it went to ...

AUB Easy Mastercard

Disclaimer: I don’t own any credit cards from Asia United Bank. I just published this article as I found their deals convenient and easy to manage. Based on my research, Asia United Bank just started offering credit card services to their customers 2 years ago so as of this writing (based on their website at https://www.aub.com.ph) has 4 types of credit cards available: Easy, Classic, Gold and Platinum which are all powered by Mastercard. What caught my attention is their AUB Easy Mastercard which gives customers the freedom to choose when and how much you pay. Your credit limit will also be based on your desired payment schedule ( once a month, twice a month and weekly ) and the amount you are willing to oay on those frequencies. Easy payments, less worries. Another advantage is that the annual fee is waived for life so you will no konger have any worries in calling your bank requesting to have your fees waived. Having this kind of program will surely help customers manage t...
