Why get a Globe Postpaid ThePLAN?

Are you tired of buying load credits everytime you need to call someone or access the internet? Why not try to consider getting a postpaid plan from Globe Telecom?

Earlier this year, Globe launched their new plan which we call ThePLAN. Since the technology has evolved, Millenials normally used their smartphones to access the web using mobile data services. If you notice, the new ThePLAN gives customers more data allowances compared to the previous one. For the pack GOSURF 299 - 1.5GB, GOSuRF 599 - 4GB, GOSURF 999 - 8 GB and an add-on GSURF 99 - 1GB. All are valid for 30 days of your billing cycle and can be added as an inclusion to your Monthly Recurring Fees of your chosen plan.

You have the option to choose from Line-only (no handset) and ThePLAN where you can choose your desired handset. For more details on what you can get on your desired ThePLAN, click

So, is it really worth it to get a postpaid plan?, For me, I’m a massive data user and could use up more than 10GB of data each month. We have Globe LTE Broadbad at home, however it only gives us a maximum data allowance of 50GB esch month so once you have consumed it, your speed will be converted to 256kbps as per Fair Use Policy’s Service Level Agreement. Well, I have an option to add Volume Boost for 99 pesos that can give me additional 20GB but I’m an on-the-go person so I really use data more when I’m away from home.

The plan that I am on right now is ThePLAN 1799 that gives me these inclusions GOSURF999 for 8GB, GSURF99 for 1GB, free FB 1GB, Unlimited call and text to globe/tm and unlitext to all networks 499 and the remaining 202 pesos goes as a consumable amount that I can use to call landline and other networks plus I got my own device on June 2017 which is Samsung S8 Midnight Black with a cashout of 19800 that was divided to 24 months and was charged to my bill as device repayment. So, it’s like you are taking advantage of a device repayment without a credit card invloved. So my MRF is 1799 for the plan + Device Repayment of 800 = 2559.

Well, it’s a bit expensive to pay for 2559 pesos a month but if you can come to think of it, if you will purchase the device outright at 39,999 plus spend a prepaid credit of about 1500 each month then it will not give you any difference at all. For me, it’s good to be on postpaid because you were given a contract to pay for the device that you cannot purchase outright and I’m not that person who would just pay a single recipt of 40,000 just to satisfy my desire, I’d rather pay it in installment than eat nothing on the next day so choosing to subscribe to a postpaid plan did not give me any regrets at all because I was able to get my materialistic desire plus I get my plan inclusions and nothing to worry in topping up prepaid credits just to have a service. All I need to do now is to do good with my job so that I will be capable of paying my bills each month (haha).

Before I forget, Globe also allows you to rollover your remaining data from your previous month to the next biiling cycle, how great is that? I love rollover, it’s like adding the emotions from your past to be used and move on in your present time (lol).

Just to wrap up, I will rate Globe’s ThePLAN 5/5 for giving customers the freedom to choose their inlcusions, for giving higher data allocations and for the value you will get for your plan plus the freebies from Netflix, HOOQ anf FB. watch their video in YouTube by clicking this link https://youtu.be/MT0WHXXuFiM
